Melty, Savoury Goodness: Pesto, Salami and Cheese Melts
When you’re craving something quick, comforting, and full of flavour, these Pesto, Salami and Cheese Melts are just the thing. Layered with rich pesto, savoury Goose on the Loose salami, and gooey melted cheese, this easy recipe makes the perfect snack, light lunch, or even a party-ready bite. Simple to prepare and absolutely delicious, it’s a go-to for any time you need a little indulgence.
Ingredients
- 1 Turkish Roll, cut in half
- Pesto Paste
- Your choice of Goose on the Loose salami (we used Veneto)
- 100g Grated Parmesan Cheese
Method
- Preheat grill on high or about 180ºC
- Grill the cut side of the turkish bread for 2 minutes or until browned
- Spread pesto paste onto the toasted bread
- Place 6-7 slices of salami on top of both pieces of bread
- Top with cheese and place under the grill for 3 minutes or until the cheese is melted
